Overview

Custom Surveys let you build surveys tailored to your club. Define service areas, add your own questions, and use conditional logic to create a personalized experience. Not sure when to use a Custom Survey vs. a Predefined Template? Learn which survey tool is right for you

Custom Surveys are available for free while in beta.

What You Can Do with Custom Surveys

  • Build a survey from scratch

  • Add, remove, or reorder service areas and questions

  • Apply conditional logic to create smarter, personalized flows

  • Choose between required and optional questions

Example Use Cases

  • Clubhouse Renovations: Collect insights from members about upcoming clubhouse renovations

  • F&B Feedback: Test new menu items or dining experiences.

  • Pulse Checks: Run short, quick surveys to measure member satisfaction throughout the season.

How to Create a Custom Survey

1. Start a New Survey

  1. From the homepage, go to the Custom Surveys (Beta) section.

  2. Click the survey card with the โž• icon to create a new survey.

  3. Add a survey name, description, and language.

    1. The description is visible interally only

  4. Click Start Draft

  5. Youโ€™ll be directed to the Edit Questionnaire page to begin building your survey.

2. Basic Survey Info

  • In the Basic Survey Info section, click Edit your info (bottom right).

  • Update or confirm the Club Name (displayed in the survey introduction).

  • Upload your Club Logo (displayed in the survey introduction).

  • Click Save to apply changes.

3. Build Your Questionnaire

  • Click Create Service Area: define the main category where related questions will live (e.g., Dining, Course Conditions, Events).

  • Click Create Question under a service area:

    • Choose a question type (rating scale, multiple choice, or open text). [Read more about question types โ†’ Question Types]

    • Adjust settings such as required/optional or conditional logic. [Learn more in advanced settings โ†’ Advances Settings]

    • Click Save. Your question will appear under its designated service area.

4. Preview Your Survey

  • At any time, click Preview survey (top right) to review the survey flow before launching.

5. Track Results

Once launched, your Custom Survey will appear in your dashboard for tracking and analysis.
