Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Written by Kimberly Quimson

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your Players 1st account by requiring an additional verification step when signing in.

View MFA status

Go to Team Settings to view the MFA status for each user. The MFA column shows whether MFA is currently enabled for that user.

Users with Owner or Manager access can require/enable MFA for other users.

Require MFA for a user

  1. Go to Team Settings.

  2. Find the user you want to enable MFA for.

  3. Under Actions, click the three dots (...).

  4. Select Require MFA.

  5. The user will be logged out and prompted to complete their MFA setup when they sign in again.

Once MFA is enabled, the user will be prompted to complete MFA verification each time they log in.

MFA works with all supported sign-in methods, including Microsoft, Apple, Google, and email login.
