Players per booked tee time is one of the five main KPI's for the bookings data. It represents the average number of booked spots (players, tournament, blocked) per booked tee time. In other words the average number of players in the tee times with at least one booked spot.

How is it calculated?

A simplified version of the formula could be presented in this way

Total booked spots / Total tee times with at least one booking

Does your number seem high or low?

  • In some cases a club allows that both front and back nine can be booked separately which potentially can add up to eight bookings at the same tee time. It is not always this special case can be identified in the booking data and therefore the calculations can result in an average of more than four booked spots per tee time
