Our Golf Genius integration allows you to quickly import respondents from events created in Golf Genius. In this article, we will go through how to get your API key and how to import respondents.

Getting your Golf Genius API key
Before you can start importing respondents you will have to receive your API key from Golf Genius. Unfortunately, there isn't a way for you to find your API key yourself, so you will have to contact Golf Genius Support, asking them for an API key.

Importing respondents using the integration
Adding your Golf Genius API key
To add your Golf Genius API key to your integration, start by navigating to the integration settings:
Open the menu in the top-right corner
Click on surveys in the menu
Click on "Manage survey" on the survey you want to use the Golf Genius integration on
Click on the "Edit API Key" on the Golf Genius Integration section
You're now on the Golf Genius integration page
Click on the pencil icon to edit the API key
Now input your API key in the modal and click "Save API Key"
Your API key will be tested and if it passes, the key will be saved
Importing respondents
As you have now added your API key, you will be able to fetch respondents when creating a data collection.
Follow our manual data collection process until you reach the import recipients step.
On the import recipients step, you will be able to click on an "Import Golf Genius" button just below the input field.
This will open a modal containing all of the events you have in Golf Genius and selecting one of them and clicking on the "Import respondents" will begin the process. Please keep in mind that this might take a while before all respondents have been imported.
