Our Golf Genius tournament integrations allows you to quickly setup data collections in Players 1st, by selecting the Golf Genius events and tournaments you want to survey.
Please note that this integration is currently not available for all of our users.
Setting up the integration
To begin using the Golf Genius Tournament integration you need to request a integration connection.
This can be done by doing the following:
Open the menu in the top-right corner
Select "Account & Subscriptions"
Scroll down and click on "Integrations" button.
Search for the Golf Genius integration and click on "Learn more"
Click on the request button in the right side of the view.
We will contact Golf Genius and get a API key for you to finish the integration setup.
Survey your events
Click the create button in the top-right corner to begin the creation flow for sending out your first surveys.
Select the Golf Genius option
You can now limit your Golf Genius event search to specific seasons or categories. We would highly recommend you to limit your search if you do 200+ events a year.
Select one or more events you want to survey and click next
Now select for how long the survey collection period should be and how many reminders we should send. The delay option allows you to set a delay from 1-7 days. The delay is added to the end date of your event in Golf Genius. Click next when you are ready.
You now have a overview of all of the events you have selected for surveying and for when we will send out invites, reminders and end the data collection. Click Schedule when you are ready.
The data collection is now added to your overview and we will send out invitations to participate in the survey when the start date is ready. Congratulation, you have scheduled your first survey!
FAQ
What happens if we have scheduled a data collection and we end up deleting the event in Golf Genius
When the send out date is reached, we will first check if the event is still active in Golf Genius and if so, we will send out invitations for the survey. This means that if you cancel a event or delete it, we will not survey it.
When do you fetch respondents for the event?
We fetch the respondents for the survey on the date we will send out the invitations, this ensures that it is an updated participant list.
