Welcome to the Players 1st BI Finance Help Guide. This guide will provide a step-by-step overview of the key features and functions of the BI Finance tool, helping you to get started and effectively manage your club’s financial data.
Accessing the Finance Dashboard
To locate the Finance Dashboard, navigate to the Menu bar and select Finance. This will take you directly to your BI Finance Dashboard, where you can view and manage your financial data.
Creating a Data Entry
From the Finance Dashboard, select Create Data Entry.
Choose the Year and Currency for the entry.
Click Create Data Entry to set up your data entry for the selected year.
Once created, the data entry will appear in the Data Entry Overview section, where you can view, edit, and manage all entries.
Inputting Data
In the Data Entry Overview, select the year’s entry you want to edit and under Actions, click Edit Data Entry.
For assistance with any field, hover over the Question Mark icon to read a description.
Add Notes for any field, if needed.
Use the Drop-Down Menus to select options for each field.
In the Action section, enable or disable fields to determine if they will be displayed in the published dashboard.
Note: To ensure a comprehensive national benchmark, key fields should be Enabled.
Continue inputting your club’s data across topics at the top of the entry (such as Benchmark Data, Membership, Rounds Played, etc.). Once completed, click Save. You can return to the Data Entry Overview to access or update any saved data entries.
Viewing Your Finance Dashboard
After your data entry is published, go back to the Finance Dashboard. Select the year you’ve just published from the Yearly Drop-Down Menu. Your data will populate the dashboard, ready to provide you with insights.

This section provides a high-level summary of key financial performance indicators and benchmarking metrics, helping you see where your club stands compared to peers.Profit Centers
Monitor the financial performance of different club areas, including on-course golf, food and beverage, retail, and events. Here, you can quickly assess which areas are thriving and where adjustments may be needed.Members
Track membership data such as types, demographics, and engagement levels. This section is essential for understanding your members' preferences and driving satisfaction and retention.Rounds Played
View data on booking types and rounds played by members and guests. This feature helps you optimize course usage, refine pricing strategies, and align operations with member demand.Off-Course Golf

How is data provided?
Denmark: Member data is sourced from national member databases through integrations. Booking data is obtained from various booking providers in Denmark via integrations.
England: All member and booking data are manually entered by the Club directly. For assistance, please reach out to your Regional CCSO or contact Players 1st support.
