Learn how to customize and edit questionnaire

Navigating the questionnaire editor

  1. Select "Surveys" under settings in the Menu bar located in top right corner

  2. Select "Manage Survey" under Tour Organizer Survey

  3. Select "Edit Questionnaire" under Questionnaire design

  4. You are now in the Edit Questionnaire settings page


Summary Overview

At the top of the page, you'll find a summary of your survey. Here, you can get an overview of the number of questions and the estimated length of the survey. You can preview your survey or download a printable version by selecting your option.


Basic Survey Info and Language Settings

The Basic Survey Info section provides options for customizing your survey. The event name associated with the survey will display both within the survey itself and in the invitation email.

You have the flexibility to enable or disable multiple languages for the survey and invitation letter. For more detailed information on language settings, please refer to our article about language settings: Multi-language surveys and invitation letters

Event Logo

You can personalize your survey by uploading a club or event logo. Simply click on the designated image area to upload your logo.

This logo will prominently feature on the survey's front page, where you respondents initially engage with the survey question.


Edit Your Questionnaire

To edit your questionnaire, you can easily toggle questions on or off and modify them to suit your event needs. The best way to modify your questionnaire is to start from the beginning and review each service area and each question.

Service Areas

The service areas are the grey bars with bold titles. A service area are groupings of questions related to the Service Area topic / title.

We recommend clicking on the down arrow on each Service Area to familiarize and review each question. It is best to start with the first service area and move downward until you've gone through each.

Questions

Expanding on the service area, you will see that each service area contains multiple questions. Let's break down how you can make edits to each question.

Locked questions

On the right side, you'll notice some questions have a locked icon. This indicates that the question is locked and cannot be toggled off, as it is essential for the survey. These locked questions will appear throughout the survey.

Toggle questions

Questions with a toggle icon are editable. You have the option to toggle these questions ON or OFF. When the icon shows a check mark in dark blue, the question is ON. When the icon shows a cross mark in muted dark blue, the question is OFF and will not appear in the survey.

Clicking the icon for toggling on or off the question instantly removes the question from the survey. This means that a toggled-off question will not be shown to your respondent or appear in the dashboard.

Editable questions

Questions with a pencil icon are editable. Clicking the pencil icon will open a modal where you can create options for the questions or edit specific details such as the tournament name, club name, and more. This allows you to tailor the questions to better fit your survey’s needs.


Custom Questions

Custom questions allow you to tailor the survey to fit the specific needs of your event.

  1. Click on "Add custom question" if you wish to include an event-specific question.

  2. Select the question type.

  3. Click "Next" to proceed..

  4. Fill out the content of your question

Note: Custom questions cannot be benchmarked against other clubs and any scale question will count toward your service area score.
